Experiential Learning
What makes our corporate programs effective is our use of experiential
learning. Relevant, insightful information becomes valuable only when it is
assimilated into a person’s experience. We create life changing experiences
for people.
GAMES, EXERCISES AND PROCESSES
Games have been used to create experiences for groups ever since it was
discovered that people have a very short attention span. In fact, studies
claim that the span of attention for most people varies anywhere from ten
seconds to three or four minutes. People are easily bored with information
and respond much better when they are able to assimilate the information
through some form of activity.
INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCES
In our workshops there is very little lecturing that takes place. Much of
the significant learning takes place as individuals engage with one another.
LIFE CHANGING QUESTIONS
We have discovered the power of asking good questions. Most seminars,
retreats or workshops provide their participants with valuable information.
Our workshops are designed to help people discover that information for
themselves by asking personal life changing questions.
EMOTIONAL MANAGEMENT
Many of the problems we face in the workplace are due to a lack of emotional
competence. In other words our emotions hijack our thoughts and actions in
inappropriate and unproductive ways. A goal of our workshops is to help
individuals become more aware of their emotional lives so that they can
manage themselves in more productive and satisfying ways.
